‘I Want To Be The President Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria’ said DINO MELAYE

The struggle for the next president of the federal republic of Nigeria has gone deeper than we thought, Hands are on deck, everyone is anticipating.
According to Daily post, The lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator  Daniel Dino Melaye yesterday revealed his ambition to be the President of Nigeria someday.
In his interview with Channels Television yesterday, he clearly stated how his utmost desire was to be the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, While appraising the first anniversary of the Senator Bukola Saraki-led 8th Senate.
In his words, he argued that, “the Senate under Senator Bukola Saraki has done brilliantly well. But we would have done better if not for this; like I call it this planted distraction by people of inordinate ambition.”
Apparently referring to the assets falsification trial of Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, which has been linked to the way he emerged as Senate President, Melaye said; “you don’t kill a man for being ambitious.”
He continued by adding; “Everyone is ambitious. I’m ambitious; like I want to be the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. It shouldn’t be a crime. I will be.”
When asked by the anchor of the program if he really wants to be president, the lawmaker responded; “I’ll be. When we get to that bridge; we’ll cross it.”
I guess either ways he just made his intention publicly  known on his plans of running for the post of presidency maybe next tenure or the one after that.
We really don’t know when he intends to run, and without conviction   he believes he is best for the position and would do a better job.
But what we do know is that Every Nigerian of different status believes that they’d do better if given the opportunity to rule Nigeria.
