Iroko TV decided to celebrate their Funke Akindele for her success in the movie industry and her show ‘Jenifa’s Diary’, there is no doubt that they did this to promote their own brand (of cause na, what do you expect?) But as it turned out, she stole the show and I doubt Iroko really achieved what they anticipated. Everyone cared about only one brand that night and it wasn’t Iroko TV.
Funke looked radiant in a stunning orange gown on the red carpet, as she spent much of her time meeting and taking selfies with fans, and they loved every minute!
Also in attendance on the red carpet were DJ Abass, Ayo Shonaiya, Oyinbo Princess, Diana Yekinni, Falz theBahdGuy, Wisetola, Designer maze couture.
The night however, hosted by iROKO World, and Lebara Play, was a huge celebration of all things Nollywood.
Yes, you guessed right, it was ‘Jenifa!’
