Lagos State government to shut Down 10,444 unlawful confidential schools

10, 444 private schools operating illegally in Lagos state may just soon lose their license.

Idiat Oluranti Adebule, deputy governor of Lagos state, disclosed this on Monday at the 3rd quarterly stakeholders’ discussion board of confidential schools owners held on the state secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.

Adebule also mentioned the state govt would start enumeration of all registered exclusive schools running from September 26, 2016.

“The enumeration undertaking is aimed toward offering the State government with accurate knowledge and fundamental expertise on confidential faculties so as to set robust pleasant manage mechanism in situation and monitor compliance.

“government shouldn't be at ease with our discovery that over 15,000 exclusive faculties are working within the state and simplest simply 4,556 are authorized and registered.
